Playing a Paradise 1 on 1 $10 NL holdem tournament yesterday. Start with 1k in chips. I dominated the guy the entire game. I get him down to 180 chips. I proceeded to have him all in 7 times. He was a dog 5 of the 7 times, and I lost every single race. 7 in a row I lost and ended up losing the tournament. Here are some examples:

I had 4 Q and he went all in with 8 2c. He hit runner runner clubs to make his flush.

I had JT and goes all in with 96. Flop comes 4 K 9 6 8 for two pair.

I ahve A 6, he goes all in with K 9. Flop is 8 9 3 7 4. His pair is good. 7 times this happened.

Rant off...

Bad beat posts aren't viewed with much revere on any board on 2+2. We've all heard it and seen it before.

this sucks, but maybe you should try to outplay him after the flop. I mean some of these "bad beats" you were only like a 58% favorite to win or so...

I did consistently beat him after the flop the whole tournament. How can I beat him after the flop when he pushes in pre-flop and I call? He was desperate at t180 when I had t1820. I had just good enough hands to call his all in considering the blind put him 3/4 all-in the begin with and he had no choice but to hope to get lucky, and did 7 times.
