Hi,

Having a short break from playing, and thought I'd use it to assess & refine my game - hopefully with help from posters here.

I've been combining pre-flop ideas from various books & posts, and plan to post the grey area hands for various situations as polls (if this one gets a turnout).

For this poll, a 'standard' 5/10 6-Max Party table is assumed - usually about 3 to flop & fairly aggressive. Table is full, and you are in one of the first 2 seats.

Thanks.

Hands in the grey area will often be a fold from UTG and an open raise from MP, so you might want to split it up by position more specificially.

66 is my cutoff for an EP raise. Very table dependent. I have to know my raise has a chance of getting me heads up on the flop.

I'm very surprised with all the people raising KTs and KJo though. I usually need to be in 3rd position to open with these.

I just want to see strasser's standards for openraising the SB with me in the BB. I think he folded jacks the other day.

KTs seems to be the most controversial. When I first started playing and posting here I took a berating over KTs, so I shun it.

I openraise KTs 90%. It works fine, its up at both 5/10 (+150K) and 10/20 (30K). I also openraise most Axs, also works fine. High suited is good.
