Monitor Question - increasing resolution

I have a Samsung 17 inch monitor. The maximum resolution is 1280 x 1024. In other words, PP screens overlap. Is there any way to increase the resolution or get round it somehow? Thanks in advance.

Get a better video card (as long as your monitor supports higher res).

i think that if that's the monitor max, that's the best you can do regardless of video card. (i could be wrong)

100% correct. I had to buy a new monitor just for Party multi-tabling. Samsung Syncmaster 997DF - 17" with 1600x1200 resolution for just $150 at Buest Buy.
