What are the best poker room rates in Vegas. I am going in January and am trying to plan on where we are staying. I posted something recently but no one said anything about the poker room rates. I am 22, so I would like to be where there is stuff going on. I figure a good poker room rate would be cheaper than most deals. Anyone with any info please let me know. Thanks.

Best advice I can give you is to call the casinos that you are interested and ask to speak to someone in the poker room. They will have that information readily available. Probably will much quicker than waiting for a dozen conflicting replies on here.

The poker room rate will vary depending on the Casino. Normally, you have to book your hotel through the actual hotel's website to get a special room rate. Then, before you sit down for the first time at the poker room, tell the manager to log your hours for a room rate discount. They will usually knock 10-25% off your room rate when you check out if you play a certain number of hours.

I called around a bit for my last Vegas trip and found that with effort I could find deals every bit as good as the "poker room rate" and without any requirement that I marry a particular casino's poker room.
