At the time this felt like a good value bet, but now I'm not too sure how many worse hands would call. Is this good or should I have checked through.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
<font color="666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, <font color="666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>, MP2 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 calls.

River: (6.75 BB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB
<font color="green">Main Pot: 8.75 BB, between MP2 and Hero.</font>

id say that you do have a good enough hand it showdown that will win more than it will lose. id say there is an even chance that he has A/x or a pocket pair lower than KK and with the river spade there is a tiny chance he could fold, although he does seem intent on showing down. i still say good bet.

No chance anyone is folding an A here, but he will call with smaller pocket pairs or a 7, or who knows even less. Hes check-calling the whole way and I think you're good over half the time here good bet.

i would bet the river...but also think, how many times will you be check raised? if i know he will just call, id bet everytime. if he is a tricky player, i would just check through, and not risk being check raised.
