I love to eat the ocassional steak but finding good ones is hard to come by somtimes.

the best steak i've ever had sadly to say i don't even know the name of, but it's served in a resturaunt called Hap's in Pleasonton, CA.

a very close second is the Cajun Ribeye from The Cheesecake Factory.

what is the best steak you guys have had and where can I go eat it? /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Has anyone ever tried ordering a very rare bone-in prime rib charbroiled to medium? This is the best kind of steak of all. Yum!

Why would you ruin a good steak by cooking it medium?

Steak that is pink in the middle is perfect. Well done and rare are no good.

I wonder if you have any idea how wrong you are.

Rare is the only way to eat a steak.

Peter Luger.

In the Bay Area, Izzy's in the Marina, if it's still open.

I'm going to respond to you in this thread because two steak threads is pretty silly. And I like Fish Daddy. He's kewl for a 19 year old.

I forgot to mention that the crowd at Izzy's can be quite hot--much more so than most other steak-centered restaurants--and a friend of mine is fond of saying there's nothing quite as enjoyable as cute women shoveling meat into their mouths.

Izzy's doesn't do a thing for me. may have been the company, though.
