Fishy, you'd better read through that licensing agreement again. You don't really "own" the software, you're licensing it.

Swapping violates that agreement, as I read it, and cuts off upgrades for the people picking it up in the future (as well as yourself, if you get caught).


Bob took advantage of the swing in software that's occurred over the last (few? 10?) years, I guess. It's more common than you think Check out a MS license or other popular software- read what you are being forced to agree to in order to continue installing those $200+ programs. Kinda irritating, ain't it?
