HOW OFTEN SHOULD I FOLD A PAIR HEADS UP?

Am I correct that I should very rarely fold a pair postflop in a heads up pot? Can you give me any guidance as to when I should do so? How for instance should I handle flopping bottom pair. How is this impacted by whether my opponent raised preflop or not? Any help in this area would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

I improved my heads up play by going onto UB late at night when I would get too drunk to play on party. I would play hundreds of HU hands on the ultimate points tables, where people play seriously enough where you can figure out some tactics.
