Hate it. A high school Real World, that isn't even real. I refuse to believe it's a reality show, it's just entirely unbelievable. What they need to do instead is bring Undressed back. Now THAT was a show.

Is this show supposed to be 100% real? because someone was telling me that they retape sections that they didn't "catch" the first time around...

not that i watch or care or anything /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I believe the phrase "blows dead bears" fits nicely here.

Come on Diablo, I can think of at least 15 other "reality" shows (which I won't list here), that are better than Laguna Beach. Watched part of one episode, and it entailed:

1) Apparently random Blink 182 tickets.

2) At least 1 break-up, followed by an immediate reunion.

3) A near fight with a midget following said random Blink 182 concert. This was the highlight of the episode, "and its not even close". Which is sad, since it was only a "near" fight.

The Real World is still at least 10x better...however "real" that is in comparison. If I wanted high school drama, I'd get it the real way and pull out a yearbook and think.

Oh yeah, the subtitle of this show is "The Real Orange County"...I much prefer the admittedly staged version Fox shows on Thursday nights /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Just look at these reactions. What other reality show provokes that kind of response? I rest my case.

The show is horrible. I watched 15 mins of an episode and had to change the channel. I got nothing from it.

I'd rather watch Flava Flav on the new surreal life, and that is horrible.

We had a show called the farm, celbreties working on a farm getting voted off (celebrities in the loosest sense of the word). There was a national outcry (well in the press) when one of said celebrities (famous for having an affair with a footballer) spent 15 minutes milking a male pig. Guess british tv isnt ready for A what goes on by the looks of it on most farms and b bestiality as early evening entertainment.

Actually I think Vanilla Ice was one of the so called celebrities on that show.

these shows seem to never depict reality, you put someone in front of a camera and how often do they act normal. f#@k that

my ex used to watch the real world........real world, thats a bunch of smit. a bunch of idiots living together, acting like ashmoles if front of the camera.

Real World stopped being *Real* after the first seasion IMHO. It went downhill from the LA cast onwards.

It's not a reality show. It's scripted (which MTV admits) but intead of actors they got real high school kids.

People on other message boards who know photography say it's the best shot show on TV. Beyond that it's horrible.

Ugh.

The Amazing Race is the only one worth more than 5 minutes of my time.

I enjoyed the first season of The Mole, other than that I haven't found any reality TV I like.

It's shot in digital video, which really makes it look great. Production value for this is insane. It's really good to look at.

PS: Where did MTV admit this? It's obviously not real, but all the MTV stuff I had read so far claimed that it was "totally unscripted."

One of my friends' little sister's school is the current subject of a new MTV "reality" show. There's some boy at her school who wants to be a ballet dancer, or something like that.

Since that is going to be the worst reality show of all time, this current one can't be.

I watch Laguna Beach for the hot girls alone. I am amazed that nobody mentioned this. That girl Kristin is totally smokin'. She has an amazing rack for someone of her age. And LC is really hot also, she looks like Christine Taylor.

Agreed. Kristen is hot.

Diablo- I don't have a reference from where I heard that, kinda 2nd hand.

I think that was pretty much understood, thus nobody bothered to mention it.

edge you've gotta buy the season 1 DVD (that is if you haven't already!). I came into watching the show around the 12th of 27 episodes last season and my mind was blown. me and my girlfriend have been watching tons of episodes since i bought it for her birthday a week ago.

god i love that show!
