lets all take hits from the bong while playing poker with those nudie girl playing cards. as a moderate moderate GOPer i am happy to see his a$$ gone. no one who loses an election to a dead man deserves a public office.

moderate GOPer

no such thing.

btw, i saw a great conspiracy site today. says there were phantom votes in ohio, and that some 85% dem / 15% rep precincts in florida had presidential election results exactly swapped where bush supposedly got 85% in the final tally. this was created by hacking into florida's new machines. cyber-chad manipulation.

not a word is true of course, but there are still some on the left that will forever not accept the results.

sorry jim, he is already on the way. i also hear he still has political aspirations. wooo

i actually have an attorney friend in booneville that is a staunch dem, but advised mr ashcroft when he was in missouri. he swears he is a scumbag that will look the other way for friends and money. i.e. take care of him and you can have a porno store and not be bothered, and he will also heavy enforce next town over as a sign-up bonus. not direct bribes of course, but there are many ways to support.

And when he gets there, he's going to drape every statue of a woman with naked breasts like he did in the great hall of the DOJ bldg. The fabric stores are drooling over the amount of satin and silk they're going to be selling.

The crazy conspiracy sites are invented to take the focus away from the actual truth...the elections are controlled by the stonecutters.

He's harmless in Missouri. He couldn't even beat a dead man for the U.S. senate.

With the state of U.S. politics if you lose the MO election you get promoted to U.S. Attorney General. When he comes back to MO most likely he will be a lobbyist making several hundred thousand dollars influencing his political cronies to the detriment of the taxpayers.

Is there any chance we can outsource most of our government to India? Our government usually does not provide much benefit to the taxpayers anyway!

Thank you,

jake tapper (sp?) has been the fact checker for abc news this year. while i certainly was hoping that there was fraud, they checked it out and found reasonable answers for everything. for instance, the 85/15 counties that voted just the opposite of party line have done so in pres elections for 2 decades. the other rumor about phantom votes relied on a statement that there were more votes cast in certain ohio precincts than registered voters and that also proved to be untrue.

oh well, at least it can ONLY be 4 more years.

was that a support vote or an objection vote?

i think you are a libertarian that knew this was the wrong year to waste a vote. i will say i was totally suprised to see you classify yourself as a moderate rep because i would have guessed right-leaning dem.

Ashcroft was a wonderful improvement over the previous AG, Janet Reno. It is fitting that he gets to retire on a positive note, as the American people have confirmed their trust in our administration. Thank you John for taking all the unjust arrows and standing for justice and against terrorism.

Thats just funny! Three years of unprecedented surveilance authority combined with permission to incarcerate suspects indefinately with no habeus corpus (enemy combatants aren't entitled. Yeah, yeah), and not one single conviction.

Justice indeed.

Well, at least the incidence of global terrorism has decreased sharply over the last 4 years - or maybe not. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
