Party 3/6 10 handed

Villain is unknown except that he only had 4BB when i sat down a couple hands ago (but now has enough to complete a hand), and hasn't raised preflop yet

Hero is UTG with AKo

Preflop: Hero raises, UTG+1 3bets, folded around Hero calls

Flop: Q 6 4 (rainbow)
hero check/calls

Turn: A
hero check/calls

River: blank
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, hero calls..

Commments?

If he was short-stacked, I'd try and put him all in on the turn, I think. *shrug*

I've never understoood why poeple play short-stacked, but whatev.

Since your opponent is short-stacked, it's safe to say that he'll go all-in with anything (psychologically this is almost always true). There is no reason not to get him all-in as soon as possible. Cap pre-flop, and keep betting until he's all in. Check-raising the flop is also an option.

sorry, i just edited my post, villain had only 4BB when i sat down, but now has enough to complete the hand...i only included that because i didn't know anything about my opponents play other than that most good players would never have so little on the table...

sorry, i just edited my post, he isn't short during this hand, but was when i first sat down, that is all i knew about my opponent...
