I admit I cant guess what he would have that you can beat, but I would call anyway. The check on turn makes me think he will surprise me enough times to make it EV+

I would call it on river and usually bet/fold on turn until opponent is very tricky.

Is this 3bet here standard? I can't really see a typical player raising you with a hand that you beat unless it is a flush draw.
