This is a hand I wasn't sure about. With two overcards on the flop that probably hit some people, should I have just checked it or was the bet good. The turn fold I thought was fine because any king gives someone with an ace a better straght. Thanks.

I see almost no reason to do this. I assume your unhappy face means that you think this is the wrong play?

yeah, i dunno. maybe bet the flop, check/call the turn and check/fold the river instead

What are you unsure about?

The PF raise?
The Flop Bet?
or the turn fold?

I think the PF raise was fine

The Flop bet necessary

and the Turn fold SOP.

I think you played it fine. 99, this is the type of hand where reads are very important.

No, but I have an opinion. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think it's fine. The turn card effectively kills your outs if you were behind, which is very likely with three overcards on the board.
