I am checking this river through. I believe Clark's theorem is when you are check/calling and then your 4th suit hits on the river and you bet into your opponents. Since you were showing strength from the start it seems clear you have a made hand and the 4th spade is likely to have helped you. A weak spade will always call in that situation. However if you were just calling along and now bet out it looks like that 4th spade helped you and you may get a weak spade to fold.

Clark's theorem only really can be applied out of position.

I'd check behind on this one.

Easy check. Better luck next time.

I checked, fearing the checkraise, or a small spade calling.

River: (9.25 BB) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB
Main Pot: 9.25 BB, between BB, UTG+1 and Hero. > Pot won by Hero (9.25 BB).

Results:
BB has Kc Ah (high card, ace).
UTG+1 has 7h Td (one pair, tens).
Hero has Qh Qc (one pair, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 9.25 BB.

I'm happy with the check... I don't think many no-spade hands are calling a bet.. so I'm probably good way less than 55% of the time when I get a caller.
