Preflop was the big question (implied odds? just muck it early on?), followed by pushing to the minraise.

If you're sure somebody has AA, KK and can't lay it down to a flop of undercards, you can probably call if you feel like gambling when your stacks are relatively deep. I'll usually just fold as I already said. I will usually limp with small pairs early on when I have no reads on the table to get those reads (how likely will it be raised?). Pushing to the minraise is my choice here to charge possible flush draws. By the way, it'd be helpful to know what buy-in you're talking about here.

This was a lame $5 SNG, and I was mostly wondering about preflop decisions. I used to play by the chart, but I don't really play SNGs much anymore, so I was debating the best play.

I got called by TT (no spades) who hit his 2-outer on the turn, so I got exactly what I was looking for, and exactly what I wasn't looking for. That's the game, though.

fold preflop to that raise.

call a minraise, and MAYBE a 3x BB raise if your stack permits, but a 6xBB raise is a fold. I fold 99 here too, and consider folding up to JJ depending on who my opponent is, but not normally.

I'll chip in my $0.02.

I would fold this preflop to the raise, mainly due to position. If I were CO or Button I might call the raise if I was already in the pot and getting to act after the PF raiser. Early in a SnG I will sometimes call a PF raise if I have position and the raise is only for a small percentage of my stack and I have a medium pocket pair.

Other than that, I certainly can't fault your play. Once the flop hits and the betting starts you have the nut hand on that board.
