The board is pretty ragged so I dont think I am giving up much here by not 3betting the flop. No flush or straight draws only an Ace really hurts me so I go for the checkraise on the turn.

Is this the right move or is it better to just 3bet the flop?

Two pair is a nice hand on the flop, however it's still not the type of hand you want to give cards away at less than the max price on the flop. Push the flop.

Villain's line looks a heck of a lot like AK. I'd reraise this turn and raise the river. What hands could he raise PF with that beat your 2 pair on the flop? I can only think KK, and that's highly unlikely.

And he is Mr. Uber LAG 40/10.

I'd cap the turn, lead the river and call a raise, 3-bet if I'd seen him play bad hands strong.

Results in white below:
Hero has 8s Ks (two pair, kings and eights).
MP1 has Jh Jd (three of a kind, jacks).
Outcome: MP1 wins 18.16 BB.

A 3bet after a checkraise always scares the crap out of me.

I think MP1 could also have KJ. Some people will raise with that in mid POS.

Regardless, I would have pushed it on the flop.
