PokerNOW bugs?

Every so often, when I am dealt a hand, the buttons just do not appear. I cannot do anything, and it eventually just auto-folds me after I time out. Anyone else encounter this? If so, is there a fix for it?

Also, sometimes it seems like PokerNOW's software gives me absurdly little time to make a decision. For instance, I was playing some 6-max and i raise in the SB with AJo. Flop comes JJ9. I bet, BB raises, I 3-bet, BB calls. Then, I sneeze as the turn (a blank) is being dealt. As I'm wiping my nose, i hear the "beep-beep-beep-beep" and see that there's 2 seconds left for me to act. I reach for the mouse, but it's no use, PokerNOW open-folds my trips. Hopefully the guy had 99 or J9, but I'm thinking I just got screwed out of a nice 10+ BB pot, potentially. Anyone have a fix for this? Or are these short decision times by design?


Edit: I would email support, but I figure the Zoo is faster than any Party skin's support.

Run a search for "disappearing buttons" this has come up "a couple" times already...it's a bug at all party skins (for some people at least).

Thank you. I kept typing "no buttons" into the search box and only got one thread that was never replied to. Semantics, semantics. This only happens with PokerNOW, not Party or Empire. Weird. Oh well. Thanks again. This thread could use some more dead baby jokes.

make sure the 'in subject and body' radio button is checked

for date range, do 'newer than 1 year'

request 100 results per page

click the preview the post box

hit submit

when using search, why limit to 100/page - I use 300.

For me it happens with all the Party skins I use. The same tech support guy has been calling me for the past couple of weeks to try and get the problem fixed. He says it is a well known problem and it is the only issue he is working on.

That's the weird thing about this. It's never happened to me on any other Party skin. I hope that guy fixes it. I tried numerous things: thorough spyware check, graphics driver upgrade, etc. Nothing's helped. Oh well.

Have you tried reinstalling the software? I've heard that works for some people.
