I had been reading the small stakes forums earlier today, and decided to get a little tricky when my 88 hit against a TAG.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, <font color="green">UTG+2 raises</font>, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (11 SB) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(5 players)</font>
<font color="green">SB bets</font>, Hero calls, <font color="green">UTG+2 raises</font>, MP2 calls, CO folds, SB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (9.50 BB) 3/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="green">UTG+2 bets</font>, MP2 calls, SB calls, <font color="green">Hero raises</font>, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls, SB calls.

I was planning to check-raise any card here. That it was a 3 was just a nice coincidence.

River: (17.50 BB) 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="green">Hero bets</font>, <font color="green">UTG+2 raises</font>, MP2 folds, SB folds, <font color="green">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="green">UTG+2 caps</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 25.50 BB

I would have started jamming on the flop once it was raised behind me and it looked like 3 others were gonna be along for the ride. But I am just not a fan of the slowplay at the micro limits, especially in a raised multihanded pot.

looks like everything worked out nice, only possible hand for the tag is TT that beats you. probably a higher pocket pair for him thinking you have a ten
