i would check/call the river. one of those cases where he'll probably only raise if he has you beat, so why risk the extra bet?

i would check as well. looks like he has a king with bad kicker. the third 4 makes his kicker meaningless and thats why i think he raises. or maybe he was just slowplaying that 4. i dunno, but check either way.
