Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

MP2 is villain, he seems tight, but not too agressive to this point.

Preflop: Hero is BB with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (3.50 SB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, MP3 folds, Hero calls.

Maybe this is a bad move. I'm hoping he has the ace and puts me on a king!

Turn: (2.75 BB) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls.

River: (4.75 BB) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 6.75 BB

MP2 shows Kings and Nines and MHIG!

When all is said and done, the table captain alerts me that I should have taken more down!

Would you agree?

I would try to check-raise the turn.

I was waiting to hear this. /images/graemlins/cool.gif In my opinion, based on his play previous to this, I think I may have lost a bet this way.

He was a fairly tight player, but when I called his flop bet I was afraid he might check the turn.

This is why I bet! I agree this is a possible missed bet, however!
