This weekend at Casino Arizona I have truly seen everything.
Old man rock, in the CO - 4/8 with a full kill. This is my second orbit at the table; it seems to be 6 people on average to the flop with players that have no fear of calling two or three cold pre-flop. Middle aged lady sitting to the left of CO; she is on tilt and very angry if she doesn't hit the flop or if nobody respects her raises on the flop.
Betting starts with UTG calling, MP1 raises - everybody at the table calls the raise two cold (except me) including MP3 and CO. It goes back around to UTG who three bets. Again, it goes around with everybody calling the re-raise till it gets to CO - who CAPS!!!
Now let me stop to tell you a little about CO.... when I sat down at the table the first hand CO called down to the river without raising once pre-flop or post flop with AKs when there were two kings showing on the board (he won the hand). So this super-rock is dangerously mysterious, what is he thinking when he caps pre-flop? Does he hold Aces? Was he finally ready to make his move?
From this point forward my memory is fuzzy.... but it went something like this:
Flop: ($128) 5, 7, A - rainbow (8 players) - capped 4 ways with UTG, MP1, MP3 and CO with the betting starting and ending with a seriously tilting MP3
Turn: ($192) K (suit paired with the Ace) (4 players) - MP1 starts the betting, and once again it’s capped (this time by CO) three ways with MP1, MP3, and CO
River: ($288) K (suit unimportant) (3 players) - MP1 starts betting; MP3 curses uncontrollably and flashes her Ax hand before folding. CO raises, MP1 3-bets, CO caps.
Final Pot: $352
What do you think MP1 and CO had?
