Given the popularity of poker, has anyone heard of any poker movies coming soon....especially ROunders 2?

Has anyone seen the movie "the Big Blind".....is it any good? better than ROunders??

fuk yeah, i hope they make a rounders 2. its doubtful tho. it could be like him in vegas playing in the world series cause thats where the first one left off.

ROUNDERS 2 - SCENE 1

SETTING: A dark bedroom lit only by the flickering glow of two computer monitors. As we pan over from the far corner we see discarded pizza boxes, half eaten thai takeout, a copy of "Play Poker Like the Pros" (unread), and several empty two liter bottles of Mt Dew.

As we reach the desk we see Mike McDermott (now played by Meatloaf) feverishly playing 8 tables of online poker. On the two monitors we can also see a copy of pokertracker running and an IE window with the 2+2 forums displayed (this film is not affiliated with 2+2 publishing, LLC), it seems that Mike is reading a thread discussing the finer points of the cashout curse.

The next two hours are different viewing angles of Mike playng online poker, checking his email, eating something, compacting his PT database, etc. In the final scene Mike shuts down his computer and goes to sleep.

I understand the creators of Rounders are now working on the new "Tilt" TV show. Not that someone else couldn't create the sequel /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Heheh great script! I bet it would break all box-office expectations when someone wanders into the wrong theater at a multi-plex and accidentally sees it.
