Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

Reads: None.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
7 folds, Button raises, 1 fold, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.33 SB) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (3.16 BB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (5.16 BB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.16 BB
Main Pot: 5.16 BB, won by Button.
Pot 2: 1 BB, returned to Button.

I think my flop play was standard, but after the scary turn card hits I wasn't feeling too confident about my hand and considered myself to be behind even though villan did not raise... /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Comments/help appreciated.

Time to invoke the "No Reads, No Response" rule.

edit: it's really important for these heads-up situations.

edit #2: I would never fold this river.

So basically, if he's passive then check/fold the river but if he's aggressive then bet the river...

I don't think anyone has reads of every single player at each table, so discussing such marginal hands in situations like this has good merit to be discussed.
