stud/8 in vegas

Does anyone know where they regularly have a stud/8 game in vegas?

i'll be there this weekend and would like to play....

The only Vegas stud/8 I have actually played in was at

the Palace Station, 3/6 with some kind of kill.

I've heard claims it's spread at Luxor and the Bellagio,

but not when I've looked.


Maybe it's a regional thing, but stud/8, a popular

game in many locations, is hard to find in Las Vegas.

You can occasionally find a low limit (either 1-5 or 4-8) Stud8 game on the weekends at Mandalay Bay or the Monte Carlo. But, the games are not regular.

The Palms regularly gets a 2-10, 20 stud hi lo going. 8 or better for low and 2 pair or better for high. 2-10 on every street but the river, where there is an option for 20.

What happens in this game if nobody has a qualifying high or low? I see no merit to the two pair qualifier, as it punishes a player for taking a big pair up against a lone low draw. Too frequently, neither will improve. Does the pot roll over?
