Hand 1 bet the river for sure.

Hand 2 Raise the flop or fold. You either have to make a play for the pot or give it to him IMO.

you definitely should bet the river in hand one.

hand two you played badly, you didn't give yourself any other option but to fold that river. either raise the flop or just fold it.
