i tried searching and every subject has something about roi in it so i dont want to read every article. i win consistently on pp but dont keep track of everything and dont know what an roi is....if someone can give me advice about how to keep track or my tournaments and what an roi is and how that can help me to become a better poker player id appreciate it...thanks

you can use pokertracker to track. www.pokertracker.com (http://www.pokertracker.com)

ROI is you net win based on you total entry fees. So if you've play 10 5+1's for $60 in entry fees and you have won a net amount of $20 then your ROI is 20/60=33.3%

ROI (Return on Investment)

Example: You play 4 $10/1 tourneys on PP


1st tourney finish 1st your profit is $39
2nd tourney finish 4th you lost $11
3rd tourney finish 3rd your profit is $9
4th tourney finsih 4th you lost $11

Total 4 tourneys profit equals $26 ($39-$11+$9-$11)

ROI equals $26 profit divided by $44 invested (amount to play 4 tourneys.)

26/44=59% ROI
