Been foolin around with this play a little lately, wondering if any of you have ever tried it/find it effective.
You are minding your own business on the button when you flop a strong draw. Early position raises, one caller to you, and you raise with the intention of checking the turn for a free card. Much to your dismay, EP 3bets you, the caller folds, and its back to you. Anyone ever try to cap for a free card? I have only tried it a couple times so I don't really have much field study, so curious to see what you all thought...
