Figures the first 15 minutes into my new quest to really learn shorthanded I go down 25 BB's. Anything I can do with these few hands?

Hand 1: Should I even be raising in this situation preflop?

Question: If you have KQo in the SB and there is a raise from the CO and one limper, do you call? How about KJ. how about A10?

Thanks guys, sorry if some of these hands and questions are obvious

Hand 1:
PF: If you're just picking up SH now you should be more aggressive with hands like this PF HU, and try to get your PFR% to about 15 or so.

Flop: Betting out is good here HU. Often you are ahead with your ace high. You should be betting a good portion of your hands HU if they were a PF raise, check-fold weakest hands, and CR stronger hands on rag boards in HU situations.

Turn: SNG is good here since there could be a backdoor flush/str8 here and you've picked up a decent pair holding. Possibly fold to a raise if opponent is non-tricky, but only if you have a good read as there are lots of turn-raise bluffers out there.

The call on the turn seems like either top-pair or strong draw, so when the flush, str8 and overcard to your pair 7 hit on the river I might be more apt to check call here. In general you will be betting for value on the river if you aren't sure, but in this case the board is quite draw-heavy.

Hand 2:
Standard.

Some good starting rule of thumb stuff, Try not to OL or CC. Either 3-bet or fold. Keep in mind that in SH you can really lower your raising requirements (3 bet AA-88, etc), but don't jack up your VPIP. Just modify your starting hands to good hands that play well heads up.
