This topic deserves a lot more thought than I can give it right now, but I have one major thought:
Name changes shouldn't count. World B. Free was formerly Lloyd Free.
Similarly, God Shammgod was Shammgod Wells when he played in HS. He didn't switch to the Islamic designation until he arrived at Providence College. So Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (Chris Jackson) and Tarik Abdul Wahad (Olivier St. Jean) shouldn't count, either.
(On another note, we should keep in mind that foreign and/or Islamic names may sound unusual and fun to us, but really aren't all that interesting when you take into account how common they are in other places).

These names may not be funny, but they are definately the three best sports names.

Please enlighten us. It's far more physically taxing than baseball, and requires more coordination than football. I assume that you think of baseball as a sport, so the homoerotic contact isn't a qualifier.
I assume that you have absolutely no idea how hard driving is. Driving at 90 for 22 hours on a road trip is not the same thing. At all.
If your goal was to win the "I can ignorantly trivialize anything" award, then nice work!
