1) did i miss a bet on the turn?

2) did i miss a bet on the river, or should i have cold-called the 2-bets?

Bet the turn, but your river play is fine. Your Ten-flush isn't taking it down.

I'd bet the turn.

actually J5, no spades took it down... =[ hahaha hence, i just got tooled. but im thinking most of the time the 10 high spades isn't going to win it, so the fold was good... correct?

Yes, I'd wouldn't call 2 with a 10-high flush.

the bet you missed on the turn might have gotten the J5 out of there

Hero still beats J5 on the river and you actually don't want J5 to fold to your turn bet, you want him to incorrectly call and pay you off.

I would have bet both the turn and bet or at least called the river. The only cards that beat you are the A,K,J of spades (Q is on the board). No one bet the turn, so I am would take that as a sign no one has the flush on the turn(and if I bet the turn I would look for a raise).

With everyone checking the turn, many party players will bet out on the river with fairly little, I think that the odds of 13:2 are good enough to call.

The problem with calling 2 is that you're not closing the action and may be forced to call more. With a 4-flush, most people aren't raising unless they have a decent flush.
