I wasn't sure what category this post should go in. I hope you guys can help me out.

I'm wondering what size monitor would be ideal for playing 4 or 5 games. Does anyone use 2 monitors?

I use two 19" monitors. They fit two tables diagonally on the screen very well. I have tried playing on one monitor, but once you play on two, you can't go back to one.

I was thinking that it might be really cool to have to of them. Is it hard to set up? I have a PC running windows XP.

Your video card has to have dual display capabilities, and if you have two CRT monitors, you need an adaptor for one to plug into the video card, and if you have two flat screens, you need one adaptor for one flat (this depends too on the quaility of the video card) but is relevant in most cases. Most video cards that support dual display are around $200+, and the adaptor is $5.

This may be a silly question, but I routinely play 3 tables
at a time (overlapped top and bottom left and middle right.)

My question is if you were to use 2 monitors, do you have to use 2 mouses? and do you have to use 2 keyboards?

Thanks

Where can I get the adapter? What do I look for?

You just need a video card with dual monitor capability and two monitors; each of the monitors will connect to the video card.

If you need any recommendations, PM me. I'm running a Radeon 9800 with one 21" monitor and one 19", but I'm hoping to get 2 20" LCDs before too long.

No. Its all done with one mouse and one keyboard. Its like extending your viewing area over two monitors instead of one. So you open a window, and drag it into your second montitor. You drag your mouse to the edge of one and into the next.

Damn! That is one nice Video Card. I am envious. Some video cards don't have two inlets for the same type of monitor: i.e. two CRTs or two flat LCDs. They instead have one of each, so you need an adaptor to run two of the same monitors, as the hook up for a CRT differs from that of an LCD.
