Style of Play based on Tournament Rules

How do you play in tournaments where the blinds double and go up very quickly (30 minutes - 1 hour)? I'm a fairly conservative player and these types tournaments give me problems. I'm wondering if I should play more hands,be more aggressive with my betting or switch gears depending on the blinds. Should I play losser or tighter depending on when the blinds are small or large?

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to switch gears. You have to loosen up if the blinds start getting large. You need to steal a lot more, which means open raising fairly often when it gets folded to you. I usually will start out any given tournament tight and loosen up as it goes when the format is very fast. I will pick up a lot of blinds this way if I have a tight image from earlier play.
