I'd raise the flop.

I'm wondering why you don't raise the flop? Not saying that calling is wrong, just curious about the reasoning.

I guess I didn't want to knock 4 players out. 2 of 'em were blinds.
Although one of them could have called 2 cold, they are fish after all. I don't know...
Should I be at all concerned about protecting my hand? I didn't think so at the time.

Question, does anybody prefer calling if I am to the immediate left of the flop raiser? Or should I raise in that spot anyways?

If there were another caller in between me and the flop raiser I would have raised.

I think he may have called the flop in order to keep the 4 players after him in as they would have to call 2 cold. There weren't any decent draws on the flop so that's my guess.
