All season long there was talk that he deserved it. This was his best defensive year that he's had in his career.

Tejada had a better range factor, but he also made twice as many errors as Prince Charming.

Error scoring is subjective, but I didn't see enough Yankees games to judge whether PC's 13 errors were all he deserved. Seems to me that if you can make it to field more balls, your chance for an E goes up. Tejada had the best Range Factor in MLB.

Who else was deserving? PC gets it by default.

At least the right SS won in the NL. This year, this time, the east coast bias was defeated, and Izturis got what he deserved.

"Gold Gloves have been presented since 1957 by Rawlings and are voted on by managers and coaches before the end of the regular season. They may not select players on their own teams, and they vote only for players in their own league."
