I would raise this preflop, otherwise I think it's fine.

raise pf.

I would probably raise the turn as well and call down if I get 3-bet. Not entirely sure if I like that though.

If mp2 has a worse hand, a raise might drive the last player out. Then he'll collect 2 more big bets (one more from mp2 on the turn, and one on the river). Just calling however might collect three bets (one from mp1 on the turn, and one each from mp1 and mp2 on the river).

Dunno if this is "weak thinking" though... Comments?

Your hand is worth a preflop raise. You won't win that often, but you'll win far more than your fair share, and you might not be facing the situation you ended up in. You also have the button.

The failure to cap the flop, followed by the turn bet certainly represents a made flush, but you can't count on it. A turn raise is reasonable, since you still have 4 outs against a flush, and you might get checked-to on the river if you don't hit, by a small flush. But your call is fine. The river is too big to not call.

I'd raise preflop and raise the turn.
