If I counted right it is 2BB to win 14BB.

Unless it is a rock I would have called, this stop and go could very well be another middle pocketpair trying to buy it (hoping u raised overcards and now will give it up) or he picked up a flush and straightdraw with his AKs or...

hmmm - i'm not so convinced that you should call down - i probably would - he looks like a guy protecting against the flush draw when he bets the turn with a hand that is not otherwise scared

Did you have any read on him? I don't know the 10/20 game, but if a non-LAG caps pre-flop and then takes this line I'd put him on AA, QQ, JJ, AQs, and maybe KK or AJs. That said, if he'll also play AKo or 88 this way you have the odds to call down.

If you didn't have any reads I would probably fold on the turn. About the only hand that you beat that you are in front of is AK. If I didn't do that I would probably raise the turn and check behind on the river when he calls. The advantage is that you probably spend the same amount but maybe you can make TT or AJs fold. When he 3-bets you have a safe fold. Just my thoughts...

I don't like my play here at all. His play is very consistent with AA, KK, and especially JJ.

He had AKo and MHIG.
