What do you think is the best 80's movie? There are a ton, but there are so few that truly capture the 80's. My personal vote goes to "The 'Burbs." Honorable mention goes to "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and "Summercamp Nightmare."

Breakfast club is the best teen movie, period, although sixteen candles is close.

Agreed. American Pie 1&2 came pretty damn close though.
But basically any "teen" movie in the last 5 years has been crap (except 10 things i hate about you)....

I must have seen this movie about 300 times /images/graemlins/grin.gif
You list some of my all time favorite movies. I didn't include them, because I didn't think they were defining movies of the 80's
Good list though /images/graemlins/cool.gif

You'll be happy to know I bought Top Gun as a used VHS the other day for 33 cents (+2.49 shipping /images/graemlins/frown.gif) on amazon.
It should get here tommorow as a few of the other movies I ordered (True Lies for 17 cents baby!) arrived today.
