Villain is Tight/Passive pre flop and Aggressive post flop. He is a 3/6 regular. Should I be routinely folding TPTK in this situation?

you shouldn't be folding here. You just said he was aggro post-flop.

I would have bet this flop. You have a draw to the nut straight and a backdoor draw to the nut flush...not to mention overcards and a big pot. No way you can fold here.

Pretty big mistake not betting this flop.

I am familiar with the line of thought that I should bet this flop, but can you please explain your thought process for me? I think I am straying from good,aggressive play in large pots and need to get back on track.

You bet the flop because the pot odds are giving you an overlay at 10:1.

I'm going to calculate your outs. These are up for debate, but I'm sure its close to accurate.
3- Tens (I'm exluding the T /images/graemlins/club.gif),
1.5- Aces (partial outs),
1.5- Kings (partial outs),
1.5 outs for your backdoor /images/graemlins/diamond.gif draw.
Total = 7.5 outs.

Thats a little over 5:1 to hit. The pots offering you 10:1. Even if it gets raised behind you, its still an overlay.

Bet.

TripleH68 did a good job saying most of it:

Also, if you bet out on this flop, it will be harder for them to put you on AK if your draw hits on the turn.
