I'm pretty sure this is how not to play it. How would you?

Villain is loose (50+VPIP), decent PFR (8%), and on the passive side post flop.

Preflop: raise, try to keep it shorthanded with position and get some dead blind money in if you can.

Flop: I like the bet, if he raises with overcards then he protects your hand for you.

Turn: Looks like you have a big enough pot to showdown on this non-scarry board. The only question is if he would continue to bet overs here since you said he was passive postflop.

River: Check and call. No worse hand can call you (especially since the flush came in and the way you played is consistent with a flush draw) and no better hand is going to fold. Your only chance to get additional money, if you have the best hand, is to check and hope to induce a bluff. He might even check behind with a better hand in fear of the flush.
