1000 dollars invested over last hundred years in Dow under Republican presidents only would be worth about 89000 now.

1000 dollars invested over last hundred years in Dow under Democrat presidents only would be worth about 250000 now.

Although you could argue that the Democrats reap the benefits of the Republican policies you don't need to go looking for analternate universe.

He said nothing about Republican Presidents. To be accurate the DOW performs the best with a weak Democrat for President and a Republican majority controlling Congress.

I'm all for economic success but I prefer a Republican President for many other reasons than just the Dow Jones factor.
