Flop play I would make a real checkraise to let him know I have an ace.

If called I would probably try to keep the pot small since I only have top pair ok kicker. I know these sound contradictory, and I'm not sure myself how to settle these incongruities.

Fold looks good to me, although you could be against a crazy with any Ace at 10+1.

I'm pretty sure you're up against two pair here, or at the very least a better kicker.

If you were planning on such a big turn bet, I woulda c/r the flop harder, to have a better idea where you stand.
I'd say a bet of about 100 to 120 would be better on the turn based on your flop bet. I woulda c/r the flop from about 30 bet to about 90, then bet 120-150 on the turn. My best guess is that he has A8, A6, or a set of 6s (maybe even 8s).

This early in the game I'd come out betting on the flop rather than check raising. Prob about $120. This shows I have an ace, and also starts to build up a table image of someone not to mess with - which helps with steals in a few rounds time.

This may then shake him off a KQ, QJ, Qx aswell as indicate if he has an Ax if he calls.

Definitely would have folded at turn though - it screams of Q8 to me.
