Hey, I have been playing on party poker for about three weeks now and I have been doing okay it seems. I've been playing live limit and no-limit for about two years and I decided to get more into the on-line thing. I have only played about 5000 hands so I am just hoping if anyone can tell me whether or not it is possible to tell yet if I can be profitable in 3/6 limit on Party... Here are my stats spread across a few of the limits that I have been experimenting on...

Total Hands - 4806
15/30 - 2086
10/20 - 632
5/10 - 715
3/6 - 1373

V$PIP - 16.5
FoldSBSteal - 79.55
FoldBBSteal - 59.15
AttStealBlind - 24.03
W$WSF - 39.4
BB/100 - 4.38
PF Raise - 7.37

Any critique / comments welcome. As a side note this is the first time I have ever played online so these are really my first set of hands, I simply worked up from 3/6 to 15/30 exploring each field of play and figuring out the differing playstyles from one level to the next. I have come to the conclusion that the 3/6 games seem to be very juicy and the swings are to large in 15/30 for me right now because players tend to be very aggressive and you have to call down a lot. Also seems like 5/10 is a much more solid game than 3/6.

It isnt possible to tell from the figures you have given what your long term rate will be.

Apart from that all you assumptions seem correct. 3/6 isnt a bad place to start if you have good experience and more importantly the bankroll. You will see more hands and you have the option to add further tables (if comfotable with 1 try 2 tabling isnt too taxing).

I would say give it a shot if feel out of depth or dont have the bankroll be prepared to drop down, the 2/4 game is pretty good as well.

Also I would invest in Pokertracker if you havent already.

I am using poker tracker. How many hands of 3/6 should I play before I can get the right idea of how good I am doing?

Thanks for the comments.

Edit: BTW, I have been 4-tableing most of the time on these statistics.

20,000 to 30,000 and then we may be able to help. Keep up the hard work, and welcome to the forums. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Need to play a lot more than this, I need a min 10k at each level.

By far not the best game on party

If you don't mind sharing in your experience, RED_RAIN, what are the best games to play in your opinion?

the party 2/4 is a signficantly easier game than the 3/6...
