Well, in terms of self-interest, John Kerry should vote for Bush in a heartbeat.

But the vast majority of Americans who don't fit those parameters, shouldn't.

I'm hard pressed to see him as a misanthrope though. Not a terribly charismatic guy, but neither is El Puppito.
