Limit O8 vrs pot limit 08?

Can anybody list the major playing differences? What should you do in limit that you would never do in pot limit and vice versa.

the #1 thing that I would not do is ..sit down.. in any split game which is not limit.


in limit, there will usually be pot odds to justify playing non-nut hands...which I would seldom do in P/l

J.C. , sorry I had to leave site while ago. don't get me wrong, basically I am a P/L player...think it is a much better game than limit...but in a split game one who has the nuts (either high or low) can punish the others so much that it ruins the game for me.


in limit game you can afford to take a chance with less than the nuts, whereas it can be too costly in P/L
