i played a lot of NL on pokerstars and use pokertracker. some of the stats were interesting, for instance it is a constant reminder that Axo has always been a big money loser for me and it gives me my hourly winrate and stuff which is interesting. originally i used it export notes on players but then i started playing a lot of shorthanded so stats like PRF and VI$IP, i woul dnever know what they really meant cause, was this plays PFR collected when we played HU or in a ring game? also, at 5/10 NL it's the same players and they have the pictures so i just rememebred my opponents. so i got out of the habit of exporting notes. how important is PT for limit hold'em to export notes on players?

So important that it's IMPOSSIBLE to win without it.
Okay, maybe not.

well, it's more important for the higher games because there are more regular players. at games like 2/4 and even 3/6, the players either bust out or they move up. at 15/30 they have nowhere to go until they bust out, so you get more returning players. I have a bunch of 3/6 hands and I rarely had notes on anyone. I've heard that at 15/30 some people will have notes on 6 or 7 players at each table

My max at Party 2/4 has been notes on 6 players at one table, but often it's at least 3 or 4, and that's been really helpful. Not just during games, but for table selection as well.

*phew*
Here I was, winning at the lower limits for the past year, worried it was all a sham because i didn't get notes on players until the most recent patch and the auto-rate/export feature.

Is it not quite true because it's almost always true?

silly of my to reply so flippantly to such a quality poster - no offense intended thief.
i could have been a bit more amicable about it, but I think there are players who generally have notes on 8-9 of the other 9 players at their table in the 15.

A friend and I datamined 15/30 for about a week straight and then merged databases giving us about 150k hands. I now have a minimum of 7 notes on players at all the tables - notes are CRUCIAL to me when 4 tabling 15/30
