SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks.

I actually had check/fold selected

SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, SB calls.

River: (5.50 BB) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, UTG+1 folds, SB folds, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

I was fairly sure he had the flush, Could I safely fold here?

I don't fold this river; in fact, I 3-bet it. I don't know why you'd assume he has the flush all of a sudden.

Folding the river brings sad feelings to my heart. I think I'd rather 3bet.

If that was party, that might have been my play. UTG hadn't done anything particularly unusual, and like most UB limit players he tends to be fairly solid. Interesting advice though. I shall keep it in mind.

Obviously I am wrong /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Thanks all, I will keep this one in mind.

I don't think I would be bold enough to 3-bet, but I wouldn't fold. My guess on hands for UTG would be Ax or TT, but not a flush. UTG just has not shown much agression before the river, so I would not credit him with a flush. But I am guessing from the way your post is written that UTG did have a flush.

If he's solid, he isn't checking a flush, then check/calling a flush, then check/raising a flush. That's simply not solid play; it's terrible play.

He doesn't have TT either. It's almost impossible to put him on TT since he didn't raise the turn when another undercard fell after no one bet the A. Villian could very easily have KT, or some kind of T, but not trips. It's also possible he has 2 trashy pair if he's loose, or, as Entity said, the horribly played flush, but I don't see you losing to a higher set.

If UTG has a flush he played it horribly. I 3 bet this river.
