No read on my 2 opponents, never seen before.
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 1 fold, MP2 calls, Hero 3-bets, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks.
My thinking was, I wanted to get to showdown for as cheap as possible. I was fearing that I was possibly behind UTG+1, and he was also fearing the straight, so he checked. Should I have bet/folded?

I'd bet the turn here. Nobody's done anything but call and there are reasonable draws (flush) that you don't want to give a free card. You've also got outs if you're raised. Bet.

Seems like the odds of UTG+1 having A10 or pocket 10s are slim, and with him raising preflop, those are his only straights. I think it's most likely you've got him beat. He may be paired with an A kicker. If he's got two pair, you have 13 outs to beat him (2 A's, 2 apiece of whatever he has paired, three of the other face, and four tens).

You may need to rethink this one?

haha. yeah. i guess turning his two pair into a full house wouldn't exactly win it for you. ok, call it nine outs. well. i guess if the board pairs you couldn't be sure if your two pair had him beat or had just improved him. hmm. In conclusion: not a great day for me.

Bet the turn. You are giving any K, Q, J or 9 or flush draw (all hands you would be called with) a free shot at you. If you get raised, you know what you are up against.
