i am mainly a seven stud player but i have been playing some limit omaha recently and have been doing pretty well. the only thing is that the only poker books i have don't really have any omaha strategy to them. does anyone know of a website with good omaha starting hands and post flop strategy? also, what are good pot limit omaha books?

Hi Josh, welcome to the forum. Crockpot's website, www.winningonlinepoker.com (http://www.winningonlinepoker.com) has a lot of good information for all forms of omaha. As far as books, "Omaha Holdem Poker" by Bob Ciaffone is very good, as well was "Pot Limit and No-Limit Poker" by Bob Ciaffone and Stewart Reuben.

i think mason has said that limit omaha is not a good game to beat at higher stakes because everyone learns to draw to the nuts, thus there is little long term gain (something like that, someone correct the statement if it's wrong). this is not to persuade you to not play limit omaha but something to think about. give pot limit omaha a try.
