I guess I was worried about being out-kicked. Any comments?

You should have raised on the flop and on the turn. There were possible flush and straight draws out there and you have to make it incorrect for them to call. You do this by making them call 2 bets cold.

Please also note that it is irrelevant whether the initial bettor has a better hand than you after the flop, you still increase your chances of winning the pot by pushing out any drawing hands. Even if they call 2 bets on a draw they are effectively paying you and/or MP2 to stay in the hand. By letting them call only 1 bet you allow them to play correctly in drawing to their possible straights or flushes.

You also want to push out overcards at this time as well so you should nearly always either raise, re-raise or check-raise in this spot.

On the river you were correct just to call the hand down.
