i dont know much about bridge culture in the USA but i suspect they must all hate italians
some pissy little country in europe keeps beating up on you guys in the big ones
this time with a mere third of the boards remaining and trailing by 20 imps (the equivalent of say a 10 point deficit with 1 period left in a gridiron game ?) - italy did what they always do best - played better when the pressure was on to win by 3
an early exit for the USA in the round of 16 at the bridge world championships
